yeah so that was my high mileage 918 that i added like 6 000 miles to it was my first 918 i drove the living shit out of it for a year uh and he he came and bought it uh and he he bought it from the store down the street exotic center which was uh who got like i just said hey sell it i want a different 918 i put a shit ton of miles and he came and bought it His character is just fucked up.

Like he later, he negotiated down to like $5, which is annoying on a fucking 90, like on a million six car, right? Just stupid.

Like just dumb on a car.

If you're rich, I mean, if you have money, like beyond money, like you have beyond your leisure, you have things that, you know, are exceptional values in the world.

In my opinion, unless you're actually drag racing or unless you must, must, must, must, must brag that you have the most powerful one and that's all you really care about, skip the X.

The, the, this single motor system at the front, and, uh, you know, Ferrari, the 849, the Porsche 918, the higher end cars that use two motors up front, they get the magic steering that comes from this system.

All the Corvettes that use the all-wheel drive system, the, the power is for, it, the, the e-motor helps for braking and acceleration, and it'll, it'll help pull you out of a very tight hairpin.

But it, it really doesn't do anything good for the steering feel.

I read a lot into the fact that, I've, I think I've quoted this before on the podcast, but it'd been a while ago.

When the LaFerrari and the Porsche P1 and the, sorry, the McLaren P1 and the Porsche 918 Spyder came out, um, the world went doolally for them.

They called them the Holy Trinity and, you know, everything was just all, "Oh, God, isn't this amazing?" And then McLaren, you know, years later produced the W1 and Ferrari produce, um, the F80.

And if you looked at the comments that accompanied the launches of those two cars, which are meant to be the new Holy, what do you call it? Duopoly? Don't know.
