If that had succeeded, then it would have fallen like popular mechanics, the pancake theory.

If they took out the bottom, it would have pancaked.

It would be like, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

Popular Mechanics article, March 2005 issue, that debunked a lot of the theories that you're putting out there right now, specifically what you said about the melted steel.

The fact is jet fuel burns at 800 degrees to 1500, and that's not hot enough to melt steel.

Yeah, for sure.

And who was the editor of Popular Mechanics back when they did a great sort of let's look at some of the claims about 9-11 article.

back in 2005.

And it brings to mind that today I just saw Gerald Posner, who you talk about a lot, Michael, as the kind of source of good debunking of JFK.

So it's the federal government's authorized version of events accounting for its own mistakes leading up to the events of September 11th.

And despite the fact that there's been tremendous amount of journalism, quality journalism, certainly the Popular Mechanics stuff that was published in response to a lot of the allegations and projects like Loose Change, that stuff was out there.

It was prominent in the culture.

And despite all of that, the interest in and belief in those conspiracies has grown.

That's wild.

Um, and I've written about that at the po- at Popular Mechanics.

But basically, um, barring a torpedo attack below the waves, the ASBM that we're talking about, the Qasem, uh, Basir, I don't think would sink the ship.

Now, maybe if they get a saturation going, maybe.

So we put together flyers that said the truth about 9-11, because even then, shortly afterwards, the truther movement had a lot of momentum.

And, you know, Popular Mechanics wrote a whole book debunking all of their ideas.

And we did feel like it needed to be confronted.

So we made a little flyer and we handed it out at Ground Zero that said the truth about 9-11.
