But actually, sometimes by doing less, turning in, we can create more.
7:05
Yeah.
7:06
I mean, I would say every time we do that, we create more of what is meant for us when we go inward.
7:14
And because I experienced that nervous system collapse, I also had a suspected mini-stroke.
7:23
All of this stuff was just from this urgency to succeed.
7:29
And being on the flip side of that...
7:31
I've succeeded to the same, if not way more, since I decided that I'm going to put my energy first and everything else second.

13:07
So can you tell us, I mean, it's kind of what it says on the tin, invisible mind pattern, but what is so important about these imps?
2:07
But before we kind of get into all of that, tell me about Poppy, your background, how we've got all the way here to unlocking your power.
2:18
Yeah.
2:19
Well, this is my second career.
2:22
My first career began in the television industry.
2:26
I actually did things very early and actually got to quite a level of high pressure, high profile success myself before I turned my attention to other people's.
2:38
I built a career in creating television formats and producing shows such as comedy shows.
2:47
I worked across lots of panel shows, so Would I Lie To You, 8 Out of 10 Cats, lots of things like that.

16 MINS LATER

18:29
When you talk about edges, what do you mean? Explain.
2:39
now you say this is a practical powerful guide to break old patterns rewire your energy and step into your next level future no hustle required i mean you can give us a little example so that we can sort of guide guide our listeners into interesting in your book as i'm sure it is obviously a lot of things are unraveling in the book um but give us an example
3:03
Yeah, sure.
3:04
So your invisible mind patterns that we mentioned there, they actually really run your decisions and your behaviors, your reactions, your results in split seconds before you actually have time to think.
3:19
So a lot in this book is how we actually recognize what they are.
3:25
And then what we actually do to start to debunk a lot of the old stories that they sort of tell us before we even had a chance to take a moment and assess.
3:36
So it goes from desire, which is what do we actually want in life, all the way through to that being done in seven steps.
3:45
Yeah.
5:21
So what you got any sort of recommendations you can give us just so we've got a guide into into the complexities and also the answers in your book?
5:20
And how did we go from obviously that experience in the MRI machine to bestselling author here, launching all these books with an amazing app as well, developing Rapid Tapping? Like, how did we get to this Poppy?
5:32
Hmm.
5:34
Well, when I've had that moment, and this, this is what it's all about in this, in this book, so it's fresh to my mind.
5:42
I started discovering stuff.
5:45
You know, I started having to listen to a lot because there was a, a point at that time that I was so stressed and had so much to deal with that I actually lost my sight temporarily.
5:57
And so I couldn't actually read any books or do much at all.
6:00
Like, I was off work for a long time.

13 MINS LATER

18:51
[laughs]
8:52
Listen, you've really got the gift of the gab.
8:54
Yeah, because sometimes something hits you like a ton of bricks, right? And you go, "Ugh, I consciously know that I'm bad at that.
9:00
That's happened.
9:00
This is really difficult to deal with." But then you get this lower kind of sub-level, and of course we know from neuroscience that about 95% of anything we do, any behavior, comes from that sub-level.
9:15
But then we think, "Well, is that me done? Oh dear." But no, because the lag is essentially, you know when you have that initial hit from the heart of a desire, of a decision, and you think, "Right.
9:29
Great.
9:30
I'm gonna do that.

7 MINS LATER

16:48
And I'm a human being.
6:09
Mm.
6:10
Dog energy, if anyone's got a dog that's listening, and I've got one, you know, it's very like, "Yay, let's go.
6:17
Throw me that ball.
6:18
I'll run after it.
6:19
I'll run, I'll run, I'll run." And cat energy is kind of, "Hmm, let's be considered about this.
6:26
Let's wait.
6:27
Let's get everything aligned.

18 MINS LATER

24:04
Yeah.
