And I think the idea is it becomes sweet because it's that through that thorn in the flesh, second Corinthians chapter 12, right.

That we, Like Paul, we cry out and then the Lord says, but grace is sufficient.

And that's being poor in spirit.

That's where you come into the, you know, I rejoice that I've got nothing.

Saint Paul says this to the Ephesians.

And in the letter to the Hebrews, we're told he is a man chosen from among men, and appointed to act on behalf of men in relation to God, to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins.

All baptized persons can apply to themselves the words of St. Paul to the Christians of Ephesus.

That there's a prayer of his that he would pray at mass with his brothers.

He would say, "Brothers, look at the humility of God." Like, that same thing that Paul was seeing in the Philippians.

God, God emptied himself.

He humbled himself.

it was a really beautiful thing for me.

There've been, like, four popes in my lifetime.

We've had John Paul II, we've had Benedict, we've had Francis.

Now we've got the beautiful, loving, adorable man, Pope Leo XIV.

I'll try to articulate the question, but...

I have so many Christian friends and so many that are Protestants, and so many good friends are really conservative, and I kind of lean to be more of a conservative as well.

and to point out to people that they are doing this, right? That what just seems to them just so evidently true about reality is in fact, you know, embedded in a worldview and a personality and a community, and they are just as much subject to my side bias as the people that they dislike.

So you can engage them at that level, and you can do things like read Haidt and Keith Stanovich, and you can read the popes on the difference between Catholic moral theology and social theology on the one hand, and political ideology on the other.

John Paul II's solicitudo rei socialis comes to mind.

Our Lord founded a church, and then members and leaders of that apostolic church St. Matthew, St. John, St. Paul, St. Peter, St. Luke, and on and on.

They wrote the New Testament under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

So you have a very important, crucial order here.

The ministerial office, right, it does appear as presbyters, the Greek, means elders.

That is the source of where we get the English word priest.

And we can read in the Bible that Paul and Barnabas appointed presbyters in every church.

In fact, we even read that Paul tells Titus in the book of Titus, in the letter of Titus, to appoint priests in every town.

Experientially, I'm the oldest of three boys in a wonderful Polish family.

There's a space between myself and my second brother, Paul, or the next guy, about three years.

And I can tell you my mom, Veronica, Veronica, Veronica in Polish, she suffered two miscarriages.

And I think I have a memory as a very young boy watching her bleed heavy and how it, how it, unsettled her and being a little boy with her, I wanted to make her feel better.

And we really know that Satan is active.

But I think we've kind of skipped over that.
