Well, I've been told she's rough.

I've, I've had a very, very lovely career so far.

Do you know what I mean? I, I s- I started out when I was 17 on Pop Idol, and me and Mark met each other on that show, and we just bonded straightaway.

So when we came out of the show, we were put together as a duo, and we just had the best time.

We had the best, best part of the past 20 years just us two mates d- dicking about in front of a camera.

So I left school at 16, and I enrolled in a catering and hospitality course.

Right.

But in between leaving school and starting college, I'd auditioned for Pop Idol.

So that was kind of happening in the background whilst I was at college.

So there is a story behind that too as well, because, um, I represented my school for a long time singing and dancing, and I was in a duo.

And then when I got to university, I applied for Pop Idol.

I don't know if you remember that show.

I think it was before The Voice and X Factor.

The Grinky After Rain.

The first time I ever heard this song was in an episode of the Mary Whitehouse Experience TV show.

That's how I was first familiar with his song.
