I don't know.

Although when you see, I remember there was one time while we were shooting Madam and we had a mid-season party and we all ended up at Ponsonby Social Club.

And what's that other one down the road? The one that Pink went to.

Now then, it's 27 minutes after 10 o'clock, so we've got just over a half an hour left of the show, and I want to play some African music at the end now, because I got extremely inspired in the weekend.

I got to play a support slot for a group called Ozi Oza, who are from Tauranga, and they play high-life and Afrobeat music, and I managed to wrangle myself a warm-up DJ set for them at Ponsonby Social Club on Saturday night.

They're an awesome band.

It's the third time I've seen them.

So next time they're coming up to Auckland, I'm going to hype it a lot because sadly not many people came on Saturday.

And they are such a great live band, like just tons of energy.

It's impossible to watch this band playing and not... get taken over by the spirit of dance like like really they are contagious and so yeah i'm kind of pretty sad that not a lot of people came to that concert at ponsonby social club but like i said they'll come again that they're only staying told on us so um they they will come back to auckland again and i'll be sure to let you know when they do But in any case, I was inspired getting to play some vintage African music as a warm-up set for a local band.

So I'm going to just fill the last half hour of the show now with some very nice older African sounds.

I'm telling my wife from the weekend.

She got us kicked out of the Ponsonby Social Club.

So I ended relatively early because of my wife.

She's just enjoying her time

Also on Saturdays, Jungle Birds are at Rocketman in Rukau Lane from 9.30pm. And coming up next Sunday the 18th, the Society Jazzmen return to the Panmure Mount Wellington RSA in Panmure, Queens Road.

Wednesday the 7th of October, Bottego Beats with Henrique Morales at Ponsonby Social Club.

Kyra, Jenny Le Bon, Dr Grant and Transmitter are playing at the Clear Inn on Dominion Road.

There's actually nothing on today, but if we skip to tomorrow, Tuesday, the sixth of October, New Noise open mic is on at The Public bar and that's a free event so if you're up to nothing th-that's the place to be.

And on Wednesday, the seventh of October Boteco Beats with Henrique Morial is on at the Ponsonby Social Club with support from Bobby Bazooka.

Kyra Jennie La Bomme, Dr Grunt & The Transmitter are on at the Claire Inn and that's a free entry.

Upside Down Lounge with Rory Johns as and The Mystic is on at Goblin and that's also a free entry music from eight PM.
