Polypropylene

Many assumed it's carbon fiber due to the color and pattern.

It's actually a self-reinforcing polypropylene.

The PP is stretched into fibers and then laminated into the form.

It turned out to be more durable, lighter, and cheaper than the aluminum when manufactured this way.

Two, the material also enabled geometry improvements around the bolts and edges, as well as minor form changes.

And then, of course, you mentioned aluminum.

It could be a BOPP or polypropylene or a polyethylene layer.

There are kind of adhesives that go in between, which are also kind of a structure which is a strong carbon bond.

So there is a complexity to the structure.

Um, and it didn't need to get this far.

We have to remember that Spain is, uh, due to have a, an election next summer, and if the opinion polls are to be believed- You're probably going to see the Vox party and the PP, which is the sort of version of the Conservative Party, absolutely dominating, uh, in that election because of the, this, this scandal, which is only part of the, the scandal that, um, Pedro Sanchez's government has been dealing with.

I mean, he's been dealing with many corruption scandals.

His brother has just been incarcerated, uh, and banned from, uh, holding any sort of, uh, public, uh, role for, for a corruption scandal.

There you go.

And they're using PP, I would guess, GF, but they say PP Composite.

And they said they could print a scoliosis brace in three hours.

And this, I think, is another really very interesting kind of thing, you know, where it's, again, it's a Chinese company saying, okay, we're going to go do OMP.

But since the re-escalation of the war, we have seen again the premium has widened to about 30%.

For PP also, we have seen a similar trend.

Prices initially increased to around 53% from pre-conflict levels.
