Polyp turns into cancer.

So if that's true, then shouldn't the periodontitis be associated with polyps too? And the answer was yes, and it was, that they actually found in a big study out of Korea that periodontitis was associated with increased risk or likelihood of finding polyps.

So basically what we're seeing here, Chuck, is number one, strong associations between what's happening in your mouth, the severity of what's in your mouth, and your risk of developing colorectal cancer.
