Polka-Dot Man

What matters is, are the people who are now translating it and bringing it to the screen, do they have a great idea for a film that this character can fit into? And then do they structure it great? And then do they execute it properly? That's what it's all about.

And on that, it doesn't matter if it's Poison Ivy, doesn't matter if it's Calendar Man, doesn't matter if it's Polka Dot Man, doesn't matter if it's Kraven the Hunter, you'll end up with a great movie.

And if you don't do those things, you can have Dr. Doom, you can have all the greatest comic book villains in the world, and you're going to get a crappy movie, right? So it just really all depends.

I don't really ever care about which villain.

No. Well...

I mean, Polka Dot Man plays M. Bison.

And he's definitely going...

For like a weirdo Raul Julia a little bit, right? And I've heard, you know, like I didn't like it at all, okay? Now listen, there's Street Fighter fans that may love this movie because it is probably, there are like really good details if you like Street Fighter, which I don't, you know, I played it when I was a kid a couple times.

If our first is Akuma, the second one is M. Bison.

David Dalsmakian is, you know, I forget that he was in like the Ant-Man films and Polka Dot Man.

You forget that.

Oh, Polka Dot Man is my go-to.

Yeah.

I think of him more doing things that are like indie horror.

He's been Scarecrow in the Christopher Nolan films.

He's been Polka Dot Man in the James Gunn series.

He's constantly, constantly, constantly at work.

And he decided to take the helm and try to give his version of M. Bison in the respects of Raul Julia style.

He's, like, his main employer.

And he was very good as Polka-Dot Man, I must say, but usually he just doesn't work for me.

I actually, in the past I actually have not thought he's a very good actor, but for some reason I really liked him here.

I loved the choices that he made.

Also, check out my interviews this week.

I put up one with David Desmalchen, one of our favorites, Polka Dot Man, obviously Thomas Schiff, the paranoid schizophrenic from The Dark Knight.

And he's in a million different things.

He's in Street Fighters and Bison this week.
