Poliwrath

Okay, hold on.

The only Pokemon I can think of that's both water and fighting, and I'm going to go with this as my answer, I'm going to say Poliwrath.

Brandon Poliwrath is absolutely correct.

How do you think that green Pokemon might be related to the other three? I'm just curious what your theory is going to be.

Of two, haven't decided quite yet, new evolutions of an old Pokémon that has not gotten much love at all, maybe if ever, but a secret favorite of mine, Kingler.

Kingler is going to have a split evolution.

One of my favorite Pokemon of all time is actually Poliwhirl slash Poliwrath.

It's one of my favorite water types for sure.

For the longest time, it was my favorite water type, but it would always go back and forth between the Blastoise line and this one.

And if you look up Shiny Poliwag and Poliwhirl, they're just like a lighter blue pigmentation of their current blue.

So I went through my whole playthrough until I got to the very end of the game and I needed a fighting type.

So I used a Water Stone on my Poliwhirl, and I was surprised to see it turn green like a Politoed when it became Poliwrath.

So the entire time my first ever shiny ever was on my team, and I had no idea I even caught a shiny before.

At least Empoleon is nice and consistent, and there's not a whole lot of grounded fighting types in this meta.

I think the only fighting type I've seen is Poliwrath, but it's not a Pokemon I see a lot of.

I did encounter a Shadow Golem, a Kanto one.

I saw a Kanto one.

Some annoying Pokemon I do come across in this meta.

The Alolan Sandslash leads are annoying because I have to swap out an Eludicolo.

Yeah, some other annoying leads are Poliwrath.

Like, there's not a whole lot this team can do against a Poliwrath, especially a Poliwrath running counter.
