He continues to spew this lie despite the many fact checks that have been done that show no evidence of this occurring.

At least based on the material I could verify, there is no currently known photograph, video, contemporaneous news report, or other independent documentation placing Trump at ground zero on September 12th.

PolitiFact, reviewing the record this week, also identified September 13th as the earliest known photograph or video evidence of him in the vicinity of the site.

Now, this is important.

That does not prove he wasn't there on September 12th.

That was a workforce, an operation, and operations leave footprints.

So where are they? Who are these people? Which Trump company employed them? Who told them to go? Who coordinated them? Where exactly were they working? What were they doing? Were they digging through rubble, moving equipment, clearing debris? Were they assigned through the city, through the fire department, the police department, FEMA? Were they contractors or employees or volunteers? Are there payroll records? Where are the photographs? Where are the interviews with the workers themselves? Where are the supervisors saying, yeah, Trump sent us down there with 200 guys? And here's where the record gets real thin.

PolitiFact has repeatedly tried to verify this claim and has not been able to find any independent evidence establishing that Trump actually brought a workforce to ground zero that day of anything near the size of what he's claiming.

On the other hand, the Republicans understood this, right? They put Trump in in 2016.

There are multiple polls, including a PolitiFact that looked into this, that show that Donald Trump would have been easily beaten by Bernie Sanders in 2016.

This horror never would have been inflicted on our country.

Multiple polls from 2016 showed that Bernie Sanders could have easily beat Trump if the Democratic Party machine and the big donors Bill Clinton brought along hadn't sabotaged Sanders.

Populist voters were ready to elect a populist in that election, and the only one offered them was Trump.

They rejected the neoliberalism of Reagan and the Clintons alike, and those who voted for Democrats are clearly now opting for a reinvention of America along the social democracy lines pioneered by the Scandinavian nations.
