I mean, Kosozana Dlamini-Zuma says that Balula was dishing out money not only for him to retain or to be elected as Secretary-General, but for Cyril Ramaphosa to be elected again as President of the ANC.

she's alleging that the president the number one of the country and the anc is also involved in the money politics within the anc it speaks about the fact that there are democratic processes that are not being followed they're being disregarded and money is being handed out to delegates in most cases who are unemployed who are you know ward members who have given their lives to the anc and have no employment of course the money that they are handed would look very enticing.

So it speaks to the internal culture, the internal politics of the ANC that you have senior leaders who are accused of such activities.

So that judgment is going to be very, very key in telling us how the 2027 conference is likely to look.

And he himself has a long track record of bigotry and this is deeper than political party that that is not who we are here here in atlanta that is not who we are across the state of georgia and i think that the people are going to soundly reject mike collins bigotry now as for folks feeling apathetic looking ahead at this election here's something i think we have to be clear about we see right now the president plunging the country into war taking away people's health care to cut taxes for the rich, enriching himself to the tune of billions of dollars while he sits in the Oval Office.

That especially since the Citizens United decision unleashed all the secret money, billionaire money, corporate money in the system on both sides, that public policy has served the wealthy and well-connected and not the working and middle classes.

Uh, they've issued a statement from their executive director, Jeff Hauser, criticizing Senate Democrats, uh, over, uh, you know, family ties to controversial industries.

Uh, the release argues that Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer's daughter, Jessica, taking a job at OpenAI, hm, I don't know, that maybe doesn't look great.

But this first half, of the first hour, we're going to talk about a Gallup data poll that just came out that a record 89% of Americans perceive government corruption as widespread.

I'm surprised 11% of Americans think government corruption is not widespread.

I want to find out who they are.

To talk about it is Ray LaRogia, professor of political science and co-director of the U.S. Amherst Poll.

But no one spends as much as the United States on their elections.

Let's make it full circle here with this new Gallup poll saying that 89% of Americans now perceive government corruption as widespread.

Again, I've never seen anything that ranks this high.

The bribes, the kickbacks, the grift, the stealing, the cryptocurrency, the Saudi prince bribes, all of this corruption is designed to take place.
