Polish Hill

The fact that children went to mass regularly during the week or began every class with, you know, with prayer.

You know, I did a baptism for first graders once, and it was the most at a Catholic school that has since sadly closed down on Polish Hill here in Pittsburgh.

And I stepped into the room and all the kids jumped to their feet, first graders, and said, praise be Jesus Christ.

And, you know, you as a priest respond, now and forever.

same prices.

And I live on Polish Hill, and all we have in our neighborhood is three dive bars and a coffee shop with comic book stores.

Hill also feels different, though.

Like, Polish Hill is hanging on a lot harder.

have, it's a very much a neighborhood bar.
