Andrea was filming, Andrea was helping making photos, which are now in my archive, which we finally opened for everybody, an online archive.

And we all, very often we met this couple, like Nadia and Fedor Rozdobara in village Kreczkivka, or like Uliana and Demian Kuzlo from village Lisové in Polissia.

And they were singing for us and they inspired us.

And there was something, they gave us something, this, that you can, as a, Men and women, as a couple, you can communicate in different ways.

But because those women were singing, they were collecting behind the clubs, official, and continuing doing what they do.

And very often, in my exhibition, I needed to ask, can we meet, please, without harmonist, without your director, just with women, so that they sing to me songs which are from not official Soviet repertoire.

And another thing which happened, for example, also in the Polissia region, because the rituals are very connected to pre-Christianity.

For example, there is an amazing ritual and one day they need to go to the cemetery and lament.

Over those three days, 166 people died.

I believe this picture is from Paris, although if it was Paris, it wouldn't say Polissia.
