so lalandra was making her way to earth and to professor x and decan ordered shikari or eric the red prevent lalandra from arriving on earth shikari studied xavier and the x-men and adopted the identity eric thread so eric located lorna dane and havoc because lauren is not going by polaris yet who were retired from the x-men at the time he placed them both under his mental domination and when professor x prepared to depart from the kennedy international airport um to visit peter corbeau who's another character um eric and his agents are or let me restart that eric and his agents attack so while eric the red and polaris and havoc cause chaos and destruction xavier's plane still takes off so more of the x-men arrive as backup and eric ends the standoff and leaves with havoc and polaris so x-men 107 and 109 is where we kind of see eric the rednecks but we also get a bit more decan but basically the x-men are transported through a stargate by phoenix and the x-men find themselves on the planet that is home to the macran crystal surrounded by Imperial guards serving evil Emperor Daken, which that one splash page, that was one of the earlier issues that I first saw.

Granted, it was in black and white, but still looked really cool.

And then it was revealed about Lorna, and Polaris has kind of remained his only daughter at this point out of the kids that he's been revealed to have.

And I was glad the show kept that, especially when they killed him off.

Uh, and this is when Polaris says, "Hey, we can't go and just start kicking ass and taking names there, even to protect the people," a group called the Codex who are down there.

He identifies the specific mutants needed to form a cosmic circuit.

He needs Magneto and Polaris to act as the magnetic poles of the circuit.

He needs elemental forces like Storm, Iceman, and Sunfire.

He needs the spatial and temporal anchors of the Summers family, Cyclops, Jean Grey, and Cable.
