Al BowersHOST
That artwork became the ETB promo.
Al BowersHOST
The regular ETB gets one, and the Pokemon Center ETB gets the additional stamped version.
Al BowersHOST
Honestly, I don't hate it.
Al BowersHOST
Because that means if you really like the Kyogre artwork, you're not relying on pull rates.

Al BowersHOST
The Pokemon Company officially announced this week that a permanent physical Pokemon store is coming to London, not just some temporary pop-up, permanent.
Al BowersHOST
It's currently scheduled to open by 2029, and no exact location has been announced yet.
Al BowersHOST
But interestingly, Pokemon's official announcement does not call it a Pokemon Center.
Al BowersHOST
They just call it a permanent Pokemon retail destination.
Ken PescatoreHOST
Yep.
LaneGUEST
And the Halloween costumes, if you like the costume a lot, you can buy the plush on Pokemon Center.
LaneGUEST
Yeah.
LaneGUEST
I think that is such a wonderful, they did this last year, such a great idea.
Kit EllisHOST
So there's no...
Kit EllisHOST
There's none of these in the U.S., right? A dedicated Pokemon center.
Kit EllisHOST
Maybe they're thinking, well, those Nintendo stores have a lot of Pokemon stuff.
Kit EllisHOST
Oh,
Kit EllisHOST
you don't sound very excited about this
Krysta YangHOST
it just sounds like really far away i
Kit EllisHOST
will say like the the contents of these pokemon centers can be kind of hit or miss
Krysta YangHOST
true Very true.
SavsHOST
Yeah, which is weird.
SavsHOST
I don't know what's going on because we still haven't gotten a Pokemon Center drop for the UPCs.
KotaHOST
Yeah.
SavsHOST
There was a drop today, and I definitely missed it.
KotaHOST
Walmart's got, Walmart, Target is, is on their way to figuring this out.
SavsHOST
Yeah.
KotaHOST
And, and Pokemon Center's still flailing about somehow in the corner.
SavsHOST
Yeah, seriously.
Al BowersHOST
So we're getting closer.
Al BowersHOST
After my incredibly successful Pokemon Center pre-order experience last week, and by successful I mean receiving absolutely nothing, I'm looking forward to seeing these cards somewhere other than a queue screen.
Al BowersHOST
Now, let's go from a global expansion to a promo that immediately made me think of Derek.
Al BowersHOST
Italy is getting a Luka 60 Pikachu promo.
17 MINS LATER
Al BowersHOST
Before you can have the promo, please complete your coursework.
Al BowersHOST
Collectors would riot.
Al BowersHOST
We're barely willing to stand in Pokemon Center queue.
Al BowersHOST
These kids had homework, and it started with an entrance test.
SavsHOST
Yeah, I mean, look, Pokemon is going to do a whole bunch of stuff to get in the news, obviously, in this year especially.
SavsHOST
So they also sent this Pikachu, which coincides with, because I don't know if any of you guys got the link for shopping this week on the Pokemon Center website, but they did release a whole bunch of space-related Pokemon plushies and all this kind of stuff on their site.
SavsHOST
So this was really just like a...
SavsHOST
Pretty good publicity stunt, if you will.

KotaHOST
But you'll see a lot more people around to where it's going to bring the prices down, but set that new floor.
KotaHOST
And then a year from now, or a year and a half from now, in my opinion, we'll enter the winds and waves era, winds and waves set, and prices will be... reasonable.
KotaHOST
You'll be able to get stuff off of Pokemon Center.
KotaHOST
You'll be able to get stuff off of Walmart.
ZachHOST
It's hard for me to enjoy.
ZachHOST
I got 30th anniversary in the mail from Pokemon Center.
ZachHOST
And first thing it did is, hey, the staff, hey, you guys rip it with me.
ZachHOST
And it's like, dude, it sure is ripping.
30 MINS LATER
NickHOST
It's a lot of hits, baby.
NickHOST
Yeah.
NickHOST
I did open my 30th anniversary stuff that came from the Pokemon Center, and it was fun.
NickHOST
The Pikachus were fun.
PaulHOST
An astronaut Pikachu plush also made the trip.
PaulHOST
The plush and other accessories are currently for sale on the Pokemon Center website.
AlecHOST
The one that specifically went to space or another one?
PaulHOST
That's a great question, and I'm not sure of the answer to that.
Joel GilHOST
JoelHOST
Um, uh, something we actually haven't spoken about, and I did want to actually throw this into this episode, so I'm gonna end the episode with this little thing.
JoelHOST
Did you manage to get anything from the Pokémon Center for the Delta Rain drop the other day?
AlexHOST
Oh, I knew it was gonna come up, and I really didn't want to talk about it.
AlexHOST
I did not.
JoelHOST
It was a lot easier to get on.
JoelHOST
The queue times, although wild, you still got through.
JoelHOST
Whereas this one, you know, I got onto the Pokémon Center, I clicked on the product that is on their home page, and it came up with an error, and it said-
AlexHOST
