Poison Ivy

Okay.

Well, it'd have to be Lux because Poison Ivy's name is Kristy Wallace, so she gets a family pass forever.

Gotcha.

Lux, on the other hand, I would say, "Oh, Lux." That's it.

And they got, like, the best live reviews of their career.

And interesting enough, Lux Interior and Poison Ivy, or if you want to use their government names, Christy and Eric-

[laughs]

... were a couple of college students who hitchhiked from Sacramento down to San Francisco to see the New York Dolls, and they were so blown away.

Nowhere else, just New York City.

And th- they turned, obviously, their band into The Cramps.

And as Poison Ivy said, "The New York Dolls were such a huge influence to us.

We had a mission to move to New York and become the new New York Dolls."

Jeff?

I'm going with the 6120 because that's what Poison Ivy would do.

Excellent choice.

And it's good enough for her.

Which, by the way, I salute the cramps.

Shout out Lux Interior and Poison Ivy on guitar.

You better duck when I show up.

The Goo Goo Muck, Tony.

Yeah.

And Poison Ivy is the guitar player.

And Lush Interior.

Lux Interior.

That's it.

Lux Interior.

He and Poison Ivy were like, they met each other.

He picked her up when she was hitchhiking.

I just was reading about Fire of Love the other day because there's a single or 12-inch version or something like that that was released, and there's a little story about it on the official Gun Club Instagram page.

Basically, the song Fire of Love was co-written with Kid Congo Powers, of course, Jeffrey Lee Pierce, and it was an ode to Lux Interior and Poison Ivy of the Cramps.

Learn something new every day.
