There's been a significant attention that's been brought, at least light has been, there's much more of an emphasis on how this rebellion was actually formative to the new political system that emerged in this period.

Could you tell us a little bit more about what people were upset about that sparked this rebellion and how exactly they rebelled? You know, there are a lot of ways to resist.

What were the forms that were most common in this case?

Yeah, I mean, the conflict started, you know, pretty much because the president at the time, Álvaro Obregón, who was in power from 1920 to 1924, had picked his successor, his successor being Plutarco Elias Calles, who was, I believe, his Ministry of Interior.

The problem is that Adolfo de la Huerta, who was interim president before Obregón, and actually in the years before, sorry, right before Obregón, and he also wanted to become president as well, right? So both of them amassed significant followings.
