Plesiosaurus

There's just so many of you guys.

Would you speak about ocean dinos like the Plesiosaurus, Maxwell and Victoria? Plesiosaurus.

We find those here in Nebraska.

Another weird thing about Nebraska, it was covered in water.

So you guys, during some of the Mesozoic era, Nebraska was covered in inland shallow seas.

We had Mosasaurus, Plesiosaurus, Ichthyosaurus, Archelons.

I'm going to do a show on the Archelon for Halloween.

No whales, dolphins, nor porpoises are to be found in these waters, their places being filled up by strange marine reptiles which equal them in bulk and greatly surpass them in voraciousness.

Yonder is one of these old monsters of the deep, the Cetiosaurus, or whale-like lizard.

As it rests there with its broad back glistening in the sun, it might easily be mistaken for some rocky islet.

But see, it moves.

Now it raises its huge head and displays a row of teeth at which the bravest might shudder.

And now it darts away from the shore, leaving a wide track of foam on the dark blue waters.

A few minutes ago I paddled back from Serlingham Broad with a bonny lad, the son of the Yare Hotel's host, a keen schoolboy with a Norwich badge on his cap.
