Pleroma

Throughout history, the Church has made efforts to suppress the teachings of Gnosis, destroying texts and persecuting those who dared to follow them.

The Gnostics believed that every human being possesses a divine spark, a part of the Pleroma, the fullness of the divine.

This idea was dangerous to power structures because it suggested that there is no need for an institution to mediate the relationship between the individual and God.

Despite efforts to eradicate Gnosticism, some of these ideas persisted, finding refuge in mystical and esoteric traditions.

And thus I began my teaching.

And then just shortly later, he starts talking about the Pleroma.

And I think we can hold this in terms of the concepts that we know, like the Uroboros, that psychic space before differentiation happens that is common in human development.

This nothingness or fullness we name the pleroma.

So, this principle that he's talking about, you know, is a term from medieval philosophy, but boy, it sure sounds like individuation to me.

And then, one last little thing.

He must not forget that the Pleroma hath no qualities.

We create, then, through thinking.

And here we see this in Ephesians chapter one, that the fullness of Christ is filling the earth through the church.

But this is what Pleroma also means.

In classical Greek literature, Pleroma was regularly used to describe a ship that was fully manned with its entire crew, rowers and soldiers and so forth.

It implied that the ship was fully equipped for its mission.

Isn't that amazing, Glenn? So Paul uses this word, pleroma, and he's saying this, in the fullness of time, I have placed Jesus at the head of all things.

As far as the greatest tragedy of human existence being told is that We have fallen asleep to our divine origin.

Of course, the divine spark, the fragment of the divine spark that came from the original divine spark, the Pleroma, the Monad, all those things.

And the sad part about it is, is that every Gnostic, they knew that we identify completely with the clay body, with its physical hungers, aches, and its cravings.

And In the Gnostic framework, gluttony is the ultimate anesthetic.

And you never look up long enough to remember who you truly are.

Now, awakening, what the Gnostics called Gnosis, direct experimental spiritual knowledge, is the process of pretty much remembering and waking up where you originally came from.

And it pretty much, from what the Gnostics comes down to, is turning away from material intoxication and tuning into the Pleroma that's already within you.

And the breath is immaterial of that because you cannot see it.

I want to have this experience.

I don't want to be one with the, you know, Pleroma just yet.

I kind of want to, you know, experience this.

Then no, it wouldn't be good because you want that individuality.

And it's kind of like, I just think, I think it's kind of circulating back around, you know, it's like, do you think with all this disclosure stuff and alien narrative and all this yada, yada, yada, which is ultimately fabricating a Gnostic worldview.

Do you understand the Gnostic worldview? It's the Monad, it's the Pleroma, it's Sophia, it's the Demiurge, it's the sub-archons, and then it's the material realm.

We're essentially in this prison planet and we're trying to escape it to go back to the high mind of the Monad.

Right.
