The bishops also presented concerns emerging from the recently concluded 21st Plenary Assembly of the Association of Member Episcopal Conferences in Eastern Africa, a messiah, particularly the need to accompany, mentor and empower young people.

Concluding their meeting with President Ruto, The representatives of the Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops reaffirmed the fact that the church should remain open to dialogue with the government and other people of goodwill and continue exercising its prophetic role by speaking for truth, justice, peace, and the dignity of every person.

The bishops said the church remained ready to collaborate with the government and other stakeholders.
