They're deeply misogynistic and offensive about people like Peter Credlin and others.

The fact that he was a play school host and has written kids' books and the stuff that he said is just disgusting across predominantly conservative-leaning women and the Liberal Party.

He also wrote some awful things about Senator Dave Sharma as well.

But do you think that that's appropriate for anyone to write that sort of stuff? Surely you have a moment you think, I don't know if I should be writing something so nasty.

Tommy's saying on the Rhys Muldoon story, I think it's because he was not running as a politician, the vetting mightn't have been as strict, but he's actually one of, he would have been one of the best known people in the parliament.

A former Play School presenter turned Labor staffer has been sacked for vile, sexist, and racist tweets.

Actor Rhys Muldoon was fired from his taxpayer-funded job with first-term Tasmanian Labor senator Richard Dowling on Tuesday after historic tweets resurfaced, including a 2014 post using racist and homophobic slurs, and a more recent post likening indigenous senator Jacinta Price to a Nazi collaborator.

Muldoon is also known for co-authoring a children's book in 2010 with Kevin Rudd, and starred on TV shows including The Secret Life of Us.
