But, um, if you are that offended by your employer, and you think they don't protect you, you think that they are not looking out for you, you think they've never got your back, and it brought you such emotional distress, yet you still remain employed by said institution, by said city, how is this lawsuit at all, in any way, something that we should be, like, taking seriously? And isn't that a great case to make if you're the city of Kansas City, Missouri? If you think this is a horrible place and we don't have your back and no one's here to protect you, why are you still willingly working for us? I screwed something up I got to, uh, correct the record on.

Many of you up in Platte County noted this early this morning, so I will correct the record right now.

We're talking about this, uh, I mean, I hate to say it, but Platte County, you guys haven't been in the news for the best reasons here as of late.

But now there are, uh, not just allegations, but what appears to be clear video evidence up in Platte County, where an independent candidate is getting accused of stealing campaign literature from the Republican candidate.

So here's the, uh, story.

A Ring doorbell camera at a Platte City homeowner alerted Republican Platte County collector candidate Jim Boesch over the weekend that someone had taken his campaign literature and other flyers from their front door.

They're happening at three different locations, uh, around the Northland, and one of those locations is changing, um, for you.

So, uh, the Platte County location, you guys went to the Eagles Nest clubhouse last time.

Raise your hand if you went to the Platte County location.

Whoo.

Yeah, there was too many of you for that place, yeah?

So we have secured the Wetherby Lake Community Center for the next gathering.

So actually, that's where we'll, that's where we'll plan on being.

So Platte County folks, that's where, that's where you're headed.

Mm-hmm

... and they've also gained a lot of ground in Clay and Platte County.

Uh, on, in some respects, those places are still kind of competitive in a state legislative level.

Mm-hmm.

I'm up in Platte City this morning for his funeral, and I've known him for nearly 30 years.

He was a great public servant, the man of the highest character, the highest integrity, who literally sacrificed his adult life to serve the people of Platte County.

And to put bad guys in jail and keep this community safe with respect to the maps.

I don't know that the US Supreme Court is going to decide it differently.
