Plantation house

Yeah.

Hush, Hush, Sweet Charlotte is about a woman who supposedly murders her lover as a young woman and then lives in her father's old decrepit plantation house as an older kind of crazy lady.

And the state of Louisiana is going to tear down her house to build a bridge.

So she has to be out of the house in like 10 days.

So yeah, it's not like a clean path of the story of this because there are some twists and turns and there's a lot of like supernaturally seeming stuff that happens.

But that's kind of the gist.

It's Betty Davis losing her mind in Plantation House, which honestly was the pitch for this movie.

And they're like, sold American.
