Planet Hackney

The track-- The, the, the artwork is obvious, right? You know, you have the, you have the fine honey, you also have the robot honey, [laughs] right? Uh, the, or the android honey, and you have Overlord X in the middle just like, you know, standard tool, like a G.

Um, so you get something like "Planet Hackney" which, you know, I feel like, you know, gets, gets the point across there.

Um, but yeah, I ju- I dunno, I just feel, I just feel like the concept gets a bit lost in just general, you know, British hip-hopness.

Um, Discogs call it, calls it Britcore, [laughs] which is very amusing.

According to Who Sampled, there are 30 samples across the album, including a staggering 10 on You Ought to Get Pushed.

I feel like there's even more samples that haven't been identified yet lurking in the mix.

Planet Hackney is a gem of a track.

It's interesting that we've gotten two Hackney acts in two weeks in a row because Outlaw Posse were rapping about Hackney in their career too.
