Plan 9 from Outer Space

Um, uh, so when i when i got to see the reconstruction of dialect master plan it didn't really work for me it was really bald um low low impact um space opera um you know the kind of kind of kind of plan nine from outer space but doctor who um but not as good as plan nine from outer space uh the

uninitiated i'm just gonna say Plan 9 from Outer Space is the work of an auteur named Ed Wood.

My father, who grew up watching all the sci-fi B-movies in the 1950s, worshipped at the inept altar of Ed Wood.

I was possibly the only 9 or 10-year-old on my block who was shown Plan 9 from Outer Space, and I was told the story of Bela Lugosi dying after about 45 seconds of Super 8 silent home movie footage, and replaced by edward's wife's chiropractor who was a foot taller than lugosi and had to walk around with a cape over his head and i heard all the stories and i never saw glenn or glenda my father deemed me too young for that i've got

glenda i've got i've got i've got the full edward box set oh wow so when the edward movie came out by tim burton in the 1990s that It was basically a making of biopic about Plan 9 from outer space.

And it was a very good movie.

And I believe Martin Landau won the Academy Award for playing Bela Lugosi.

Anyway, the first one is Bela Lugosi.

So the famous actor who, you know, appeared in those Ed Wood crummy movies like Plan 9 from Outer Space, right? He was buried in his full Dracula costume, cape and all.

I remember hearing this.

Oh, goodness.

They were fully aware of the So Bad It's Good territory, right? Unlike Sharon Stone's performance in Casino, a capital G great film in which she earned her one and only Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress.

Other examples here of So Bad It's Good include Ed Wood's Plan 9 from Outer Space.

Perhaps you'd accept Commando with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
