Here in the United States, we've had very nice harvest weather for the most part.

The Eastern Central Plains or Western Midwest has had a lot of rain that has slowed down harvest, but we don't hear many reports of quality declines or shattering.

So producers have been pretty focused on getting beans out of the field.

And again, I think that should wrap up harvest here fairly quickly.

Winter wheat in the South Plains is off to an encouraging start.

Although more moisture is needed on the Texas rolling plains, farmers there have begun planting their winter wheat crop.

That's just a bit behind the 94% five-year average pace.

Texas peanuts now stand at 25% harvested.

Kenenbegil was a native chief of considerable renown, and would have been in the district when barracks and party passed there.

He was referred to by Ensign Francis Borrelier as Canaan Bagel, C-A-N-A-M-B-A-I-G-L-E, on November 7th and 8th, 1802.

To the westward we saw a brook down the country, which we supposed to be a river, which seemed to run north-west from south-east.

The land seemed very high to the southward, but still an open country, distanced twenty miles.
