Plácido Polanco

Don't know him.

Placido Polanco.

Yeah.

All right.

It reminds me of the offseason.

Ruben, you were there when you guys offered Placido Polanco a qualifying offer, correct? I think so.

I think it was, right? Wasn't there, Jim, do you remember this? Polanco, was it a qualifying offer to Polanco that you guys thought that he was going to walk and then he accepted it and he came back? Ed had promised Chase would be the opening day second baseman.

Polanco accepted.

Oh.

You got David Ortiz, Paul Konerko, Placido Polanco.

Oh my God.

For the White Sox?

It was Placido Polanco.

That's the most random name on here.

Wow.

Is crazy.

And there's some other like lower picks.

names like guys like Todd zeal, Thomas Cobain probably had a jet Jericho Jersey at one point in his life, Troy glass, Placido Polanco, Fernando Tati senior.

We had the rat Gary guy Eddie for a little bit, Thomas, welcome in.

And did you have a favorite third baseman for the Cardinals growing up that somebody that you thought was cool?

If we're talking lesser guys, it's probably Jed Jericho and Placido Polanco.

But if we're going big name, it's got to be Scott Rowan.

I mean, he's the guy I watched once I started really getting into fandom in the early 2000s and from there as well.

I connect more with those guys just because a lot of them were teammates of mine.

Placido Polanco.

I know Albert Pujols just through the game.

I never played with him, but I do know him.
