Pizza Tower

insane uh I'm watching the release trailer right now.

It kind of looks almost like a Super Meat Boy meets like a Pizza Tower type beat.

Yeah, Pizza Tower is a very good connection for this because it moves at that same kind of frantic pace.

Like maybe not as... quite as fast as pizza tower because it doesn't have like the shoulder charge and like it doesn't have like the wario parts of the franticness but like pace wise it's very fast um and yeah it looks it's like in squiggle vision almost you know and like a lot of the art is so simplistic and dumb like a child did it and a lot of the sound effects are like just like mouth sounds

You know, it's like somebody just going...

Good game.

Um, played Nights for the first time, and having the weird experience of getting used to the gameplay, and it didn't click until I was like, "Oh, it's like Pizza Tower, where you wanna do a score attack."

Yeah, yeah.

You do, [laughs] do the laps.

And apparently it's a pretty commonly known sound called the Philly hit.

And it's actually been used a lot more recently and successfully in Pizza Tower, which is a game that I don't know if either of us have played yet, actually.

No, I haven't.

People recognize it as the Pizza Tower sound effect more than they recognize it as the War Gods menu sound effect.

But yeah, just... bizarre it stands out really strangely here hoping that you can kind of intercut some philly hits amongst some of my points here to just kind of uh really drive home the fact that it's weird and it is not what you would expect in a game where there are fatalities

It is weird, though, especially with this game being sort of like a little bit more serious because it's a fighting game.
