Today, we're talking about two features that you were intimately involved in.

It's guided vision and signed to text on Pixel.

These are two very empowering features.

What was it like to work on those?

And also we augmented our data sets as needed.

So for example, with this left-handed signing thing that I mentioned, we had to bring in more data sets to augment that so that our model could perform better there.

So now that we're on the topic of signing, so Sign to Text on Pixel, I think it was first shown at the Made by Google event back in August in New York.

I think it was like the show-stopping moment, right? When people saw what it could do.

camp? I'm in the Android camp.

I am still rocking my Pixel 10 Pro XL.

And so...

I don't have any – I keep an iPhone around, an older iPhone around, just for testing, testing CarPlay updates and things like that in the vehicles I'm driving.

That's going to be between inflation and components and all that.

I'm like, are they going to be able to hold the price at two grand for future models? Will they retire a touch ID model and only sell a newer one?

Given how thin it is when it's opened up, do you think it's possible to potentially do an underscreen fingerprint sensor as opposed to the one on the side? Because I mean, again, As a Pixel user, it works great for me, the under-screen fingerprint sensor.

yeah i i don't know that would be that would be intriguing i think this just feels more obvious like where it is and you can see it working there's a little bit of mysteriousness when i'm putting my finger on the the touch id sensor i do think it's like it's kind of maxed out at how thick it can be um because we use it quite a bit side by side with the samsung galaxy z fold 8.

There's still time, but that's still on the to-do list.

And then I did spend some time working on a new custom live wallpaper home screen for my Pixel 11.

It is directly related, or I mean, if I say what it's about or what it's related to, it'll be spoiled.

So it is a new Stargate home screen.

It's increased drastically.

Like I do, I did find that with the pixel 10 pro fold, which was the last folder I used extensively for like the better part of half a year last year.

Oh no, it was this year actually.

Um, But time

And I do wonder how they would remarket it.

I think it would very much be like, they could go down the Pixel Fold classic route and that would be kind of cool.

Well, they did a whole ad campaign for the headphone jack on the Pixel 1 and then took it away on the Pixel 2 and didn't say anything about it.

So I think they'll just pretend they never did the first Pixel Fold.
