Piper PA-44 Seminole

Um, I will then, uh, dovetail into the flaps.

"Okay, are we gonna have flaps in our airplane in an electrical system failure?" If you're in a Piper Seminole, you are, because they're just manual flaps, just like in a, a Cherokee.

But in the other airplanes, they're usually electric, so we're not gonna have flaps.

"Okay.

You know, there was nothing.

It was, other than being faster and more complicated to fly, it was no different than what I'd been flying before, like a Piper Seminole.

It's all manual.

Everything.

You're like, oh my gosh, this guy over here didn't know jack.

I really know what I'm doing.

And then you go to the next level and you say, oh my gosh, now I can fly a Piper Seminole in the clouds and lose an engine and still fly it.

I know what I'm doing.

kind of airplane do you have?

Well, we fly brand new Piper Archers there as well as Seminoles.

And my question is mostly based off of the seminars that Mike Bush does.

But I want to know, why do you recommend against climbing with a lean of peak mixture or brutally lean, as you call it, mixture?
