Piper PA-32R

And like every Kennedy story, theirs was already beginning to bend toward tragedy before anyone realized it.

On the 16th of July 1999, John Jr. piloted his small Piper Saratoga aircraft out of Essex County Airport in New Jersey.

On board were Carolyn and her sister, Lauren Bessette.

They were heading to Martha's Vineyard for the wedding of John's cousin, Rory Kennedy.

So far today, crews and residents have found luggage belonging to Lauren Bessette and several pieces of the missing airplane.

The single-engine Piper Saratoga left Fairfield, New Jersey, the Caldwell Airport, last night at around eight thirty and was due to arrive on Martha's Vineyard-

ABC called to set up an interview about a book I'd written.

My vanity scurried to-

It was difficult, uh, looking for the pieces of, uh, TWA Flight eight hundred, which was a 747, and there was a, another, uh, flight, a, a plane that went down, um, off the-- a, a 757.

They were difficult.

This is a Piper Saratoga, once called a Cherokee six.

Six places.

Q started in 1999.

JFK Jr. was flying a Piper Saratoga when he supposedly crashed in 1999.

That crash was the start of...

No, it wasn't, okay? No, it wasn't.

You see that? JFK Jr.

was flying a Piper Saratoga.

You guys remember that? We remember the start of the Q operation was in 1999 when supposedly JFK Jr.

crashed and passed away.
