It's the main meeting in Queensland.

It's Pink Ribbon Cup Day.

It'll be just covered in pink, of course, for Breast Cancer Awareness.

So great charity to get behind that.

Saturday is the main meeting at Aquus Park Gold Coast.

It's Pink Ribbon Cup Day.

Of course, a very, very worthy cause there at the Gold Coast on Saturday.

So get behind that.

We have a meeting at Eagle Farm as well.

We also race... at at least country venues, a few cups, Atherton, Gympie, Morven, Gladstone, Talwood and Winton.

And then we go to the Sunshine Coast on Sunday's Pink Ribbon Race Day at the Sunny Coast.

So plenty of pink this weekend, which is, as I said, a great cause.

So plenty of pink this weekend, which is, as I said, a great cause.

It is very, very hard.

But to me, it was really important that the book signified that we're moving beyond just the basic breast cancer conversation, beyond, you know, and beyond with the branding that the Pink Ribbon has become, right? Everyone knows Pink Ribbon is breast cancer, but to talk about what happens after, what happens that is not discussed, right? And these are the hard conversations.

I mean, I have a whole... chapter on sexual health because it was so important to have that in there.

So my hope is that it's how do you move beyond that? How do you thrive after a diagnosis, whether or not you're living with disease or not? And so that's kind of how it naturally came to be.

And I have a lot of mixed feelings about the pink ribbon.

And so this is my saying, we're going to move past that and really thrive as much as we can.

Yeah.

Southwest residents and groups wanting to make a difference for breast cancer are being encouraged to get in early.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is October, with Pink Ribbon Breakfasts a popular fundraiser during this time.

This can also extend to brunch, morning tea, and lunch during October.
