And one of the places that immediately caught my attention wasn't even haunted or a hotel.

Um, so it's in the tiny hamlet of Pine Bush, which proudly calls itself, this was news to me, proudly calls itself the UFO capital of the East Coast.

I just wanted to let you sit with that for a second.

[laughs] So since the early 1960s, people have reported strange light and unexplained objects in the skies over the Hudson Valley.

Now, whether you believe those sightings were extraterrestrial visitors or simply unexplained phenomena, the poli- the town has completely embraced this reputation.

Today, you can visit the Pine Bush UFO and Paranormal Museum and learn about decades of reported sightings, and if you time it just right, you can even, um, attend one of their UFO-themed events.

So honestly, I wasn't expecting to find the UFO destination while, um, researching the East Coast, but that's what I found, and, uh, this is why I love what I do.
