The Rebbe said, So I was stumped.

Learning in Shul, there's Zichron no problem Chatzot Sha'ah Kodem.

Unless you're learning B'Pilpul, then it could be an issue.

Even those that Aser to do-- to, to learn Chatzot Sha'ah Kodem Bedikat Chametz when you're learning at home, but when it comes to the Mitzvah, let's say, of Kirshma Shel Arvis, where there once it comes to Zman, a person has to say Kirshma first before he continues learning.

But in the Chatzot Sha'ah Kodem Kirshma, there's no problem learning.
