Well, you have, uh, uh, I think what's gonna be a fascinating story for the audience today, both younger people, uh, thinking about local gov, uh, maybe those who might be in non-local gov positions, maybe in the, uh, private sector, maybe in nonprofit work, who are thinking about m-m-maybe a next chapter.

And, uh, and your story seems to have that, and so we're gonna unpack that today.

One of the things, uh, just to tease out for our local government leaders listening to this, there was an article in the Business Review magazine, uh, titled "Honoring the Past While Preparing for the Future." And when we get to where you're the city manager today in Pilot Point, just a place outside of Dallas, uh, just crazy growth.

I mean, we're talking, when I looked up the population, I think, uh, wh-when you came on in 2020, I think, uh, I mean, we're talking like 3,000, 4,000 people, and all of a sudden we just said, like y-y-you, if you Google the population, it can't even keep up with it.
