That crash happened on Highway twenty-nine, about three miles north of Troy in Pike County.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said sixty-seven-year-old Vernell Fennell was a passenger in a vehicle when that vehicle collided head-on with another vehicle.

Fennell was pronounced dead at the scene.
