Pig farming

Uh, you know, w- whether they're gonna be a doctor, whether they're gonna be in the industry, it doesn't matter.

They have been impacted by a show pig, and they, uh, become great employees and great ambassadors to the pork industry.

Again, even if they're, uh, end up being a pig farmer, commercial show pig niche, whatever it is, or not, they are still great allies to, to the, the National Pork Board and the pork industry, uh, in the United States.

So that's kind of my background and, and my history of how I got to where, where I did.

Again, it's a little unconventional and, uh, when I tell people that, uh, they, they were like, "Well, you grew up on a hog farm.

So with that, and, you know, obviously your, your position with the National Pork Board, what do you need from us? I mean, what do you need from us to, to step forward? What do you need from us, uh, to continue to, uh, promote pork in a positive way and, uh, continue to, to fight the good fight, I guess, is the best way to put it?

Yeah, absolutely.

Uh, the big thing is continue to be a great representation of the pork industry.

No, I'm just...

Pig farming, huh?

[laughs]

When did you stop pursuing that?
