So this is a Lewis County Sheriff's Office thing, and that's up there in Mineral, too, so you can flee into Pierce County almost immediately just shooting across into it.

I still, after all these years, don't know if it's Elb or Elby, but yeah.

Robert Lee Yates was not completely ruled out in Patsy's case until decades later.

In the report of Detective Michael Grant, who closed this case, it said, quote, Yates was convicted of killing numerous females in Spokane County, including two from Pierce County.

Many of the females he was convicted of murdering were involved in prostitution, and the manner in which they were killed was consistent with the circumstances in the Barnes case." Patsy was definitely on the older end of Yates' known victims, and Yates had no connections to Kitsap County that anyone was aware of, but the similarities were undeniable.

I'm skipping ahead quite a bit here, but Detective Michael Grant was finally able to rule Yates out after extensive analysis of his detailed timeline for the time leading up to Patsy's murder.

Almost all of Crone's documented crimes were property crimes or drug charges.

He was arrested several times for burglary in the 1988 to 1991 time frame.

But one violent crime on Crone's record was an arrest on August 27, 1994, by the Pierce County Sheriff's Office for kidnapping second degree.

I have no details, as there are no records remaining.

But I, I see the bicycle n- now as an essential component of a public health initiative.

And so from my perspective then, the local bicycle club, if you buy into the bicycle is a public health tool and an important public health tool, then the bicycle club to me has this importance to a community, in our case Pierce County, Washington.

The bicycle club has im- an importance to the, to the community because it kind of is the place where the use of the bicycle for the community is, is really focused on.

And, and I'm wondering i- if you could comment on that.

For some people, they wanna be on their e-bike if they're older, but, but then they just completed a pedestrian bicycle trail that connects to that, to that, uh, outer loop.

And that is a place where if we can get people safely, uh, to me that's a, you know, part of what TWBC can research, is how do we get people safely from where they live and their bicycle to Point Defiance Park so that they have now, you know, they could ride it several times if they want, but they have five miles or double up on it and do 10 miles or, or whatever.

I think, uh, that is something spec- specific that would help Pierce County, is to how to get people to these safe biking places.

So we, um, have units of our own, uh, as well as we communicate and coordinate with just about any housing provider in, uh, Pierce County and Tacoma.

And so individuals who are, uh, chronically unhoused, individuals who struggle with maintaining housing, individuals who are struggling with behavioral health and substance use disorders, all that ties in together.

One leads to another, leads to another.

So pretty much any low-income resident of Tacoma.

So our program serves Tacoma proper.

Um, if you're in Pierce County, we can get you referred out to the Pierce County program as well.

Uh, pretty much any low-income resident, um, if they're needing help, they're getting behind on their energy bills, or, uh, whether it's gas or electric.
