Pictures of You

I was going to go with...

Plain Song and Pictures of You as a one-two.

But after listening to Songs of a Lost World right through this week, twice, I've actually decided to crack on with Alone.

That's how they

opened their recent tour in Europe, Alone into Pictures of You.

Yeah.

So Alone and then Pictures of You.

So it does maintain that set list integrity and also one-two track.

... we have Fascination Street from The Cure from Disintegration from 1989.

Obviously some great songs there as well, like Lovesong, Pictures of You, Lullaby.

Lullaby almost made the pick 'cause I really love that song, but I wanted to go Fascination Street.

Mm-hmm.

We're going to ask them to do it.

This is Pictures of You by The Cure for the great Paul, our fantastic artist who's retiring.

Thank you for your service, sir.

And you're listening to Confidential.

And Playdos retreat [rock music playing]

[singing] I've been looking so long at these pictures of you That I almost believe that they're real I've been living so long with my pictures of you That I almost believe that the pictures are all I can feel Standing quiet in the rain as I ran to your heart to be near.

And we kissed as the sky fell in, holding me close.

How I always held close in your fear.

Open my eyes, but I never see anything.

If only I'd thought of the right words, I could have held on to your heart.

If only I'd thought of the right words, I wouldn't be breaking apart all my pictures of you.

[rock music] Waiting so long for these pictures of you.
