Pico de gallo

No, they have it like in Pico de Gallo, but it's not.

I put beans, rice.

Meat, right now I put cheese, and I put a pico de gallo.

Plus lettuce, sour cream, and guacamole.

And the special sauce I make.

I made a chile relleno burrito.

Meat on top and the special sauce.

Pico de gallo.

There's so many burritos we go through.

Yeah.

All right, well, here's a quick one about pico de gallo, you know, the super simple mix that just has fresh diced tomatoes, onion, jalapenos, and usually cilantro.

And it just tastes so good on tortilla chips.

But anyway, according to Epicurious, pico de gallo actually means rooster's beak in Spanish.

What? Why rooster's beak? Well, it actually turns out that the traditional way of eating pico de gallo was just to use your fingers, and in particular, your thumb and index fingers.

You do have to keep in mind that tortilla chips and the act of dipping them in salsa, that was really more of an American thing.

And so this style of eating, when you have those two fingers, it reminded people so much of the way roosters peck at food with their beaks that they just decided the name

So it's kind of like a pico de gallo.

Some people just like rip it.

it's funny because ours looks more like a salad, like pico de gallo, which I would say is a salad more than a salsa.

A pico de gallo is a salad.

well, if you ever make Pico de Gallo, um, pilling and seeding and chopping up a cucumber and adding it in there, it's quite delicious, especially with fish tacos.

And the city is going to break it down.

And the proportion to the tomato, cilantro, and onions, it felt a little bit more like pico de gallo.

Pico de gallo is tomatoes and onions and cilantro.

So what I want to do is I want to put a little bit more avocado so that we get more of that avocado forward taste.
