I like the Orphic Hymns.

I like the Picatrix as one of my major grimoires.

I don't know much about Solomonic magic, but I think it's really cool.

I would like to get into that.

And I think it fits right in with the Picatrix and the astrological magic too because it's working with the planetary spirits as well of the seven days.

How did you end up getting into, I think you also do Reiki, correct?

We have the seven classical planets plus the nodes.

People kind of discount how important the nodes are in like the Picatrix and these medieval and Renaissance texts of Western astrology.

But it's really kind of the same nine.

But so for the sun, You know, this is obviously the king of the sky, hot and dry, and it is important, you know, in Jyotish, we see the sun as a kruara graha.

Moon is like the whole filter of consciousness that we perceive.

You know, I say reality, but like, you know, you can't really perceive anything.

Everything that you perceive comes through the filter of the moon, right? Just in the same way that in the Picatrix, the moon is the, the, the mediatrix for all supra celestial, supra lunar celestial planets.

And this is, I think, where a bit of our point of contention comes in.

So for me, it's not really about that I don't think the Picatrix – I'm sure that he was drawing from the Picatrix.

But in my perspective, the Picatrix is like an outer – what we would call like an outer Kriya Tantra.

Most people are familiar with that.

The second is a treatise on astrological magic called the Picatrix, and that's kind of less known, but...

But quite good.

I quite enjoy it and I use it quite often.

Well, actually, it was specifically for the mansion.

There is a medieval book of magic, a grimoire called the Picatrix, that was written originally in 10th century Andalusia, Spain.

And it was written in Arabic by a fellow named...

Moslem al-Kurtubi, most scholars believe.

There was another fellow that was claimed to be the author, but most scholars agree now that it was al-Kurtubi.

And it was translated into Castilian Spanish and thence into Latin.

And there's two English translations of the Picatrix available, one written by Maestro...

Teacher Christopher Warnock and John Michael Greer, who wrote my forward to my.

It focuses primarily on amulets with a very strong dose of astrological magic.

The Taqlit HaKakam is simply a Hebrew translation of the Goal of the Wise, better known in Europe as the Picatrix, which of course is a vast encyclopedia of magic ranging on enormous amount of topics.

Further, a mention here is also made of the Al-Mandel.

This is also a text that survives in several Jewish translations, and this text deals with a kind of magical apparatus for the summoning of various spirits.

So it's this separation into sevens.

Not arbitrarily, because it creates a beautiful, it creates something that our minds, right? The divine part of ourselves, especially to people like Agrippa and in the Picatrix and stuff like that.

The mind is the faculty that hears harmony, hears music in vibratory ratios is proof that it's divine.
