Phony

Episode three of Phony on Hulu is truly for the birds.

I mean, the episode name itself is reverse cuckoo situation, but the amount of birds that we see, I mean, the mechanical chickens, these themes of rebirth and Easter, very interesting.

I mean, I will say I watched this episode with an absolute eagle eye trying to discern like what is actually going on here.

Well, come on, you can blow the...

All right, so Phony is about a mother and son.

She is the headmaster or works at the local school.

She's played by Connie Britton, who people love ever since Friday Night Lights.

Okay, great.

All right.

So that's Phony.

It's on Disney Plus.

But you're not going to be short of some hot takes that will leave you not only informed, but also a little bit hot under the collar due to the sheer sex appeal and magnetism that Simon and I will bring to our discussion of these TV shows and movies.

And with that established, we will be talking about Phony.

It's on Disney+.

It's a brand new TV show starring Mrs.

Coach.

Yeah, we'll go with that.

Phony, it's on Disney+.

There's Wildwood, which is a new animated film, which admittedly I wasn't that aware of until Simon said, gotta talk about Wildwood, mate.

It debuted this week on Hulu, and I've watched the first two episodes that are out.

The show is called Phony.

I

saw an ad for this with Connie Britton, right? Connie

I'm into it.

It has a 90% from critics and a 92% from the audience.

Phony.

I mean, it's got Connie Britton, too.

Um, is that the reason why I pursued this interview with her? No, because the show that she is in with Sam Nivola, which is just fantastic.

It's called Phony and it's on Hulu and you very much should watch it.

He plays a young man who wakes up from an accident and he meets his mom, but it doesn't seem like his mom.

And the whole thing is about questioning whether or not this is really his mom.

Yeah.

than I did with those other characters.

And, you know, certainly Phony is no exception.

Oh, it's definitely that.
