Phoebe A. Hearst Museum of Anthropology

Ben, before your appointment to LGBTQ+, you built a prominent career as a museum educator, administrator, and equity advocate.

You worked in administrative and educational roles at the John Paul Getty Museum, the Skirball Cultural Center, and the Hearst Museum of Anthropology.

You also held the position of deputy director at both the Museum of Us and the Ohio History Connection, and you served on the board of Equality Ohio.

At a time when there are forces working against inclusion and equality, you're leading a museum whose goal is to be bold, activist, and non-neutral.
