Phillips screw drive

We just call anything with a cross head a Phillips.

He assumed the two were interchangeable, which often does work, but he's noticed that having the precisely right bit changes how well the screw drives and how much damage you do to the head.

He read on ChatGPT that the engineering is more deliberate than people assume, and that one design applies force better.

That turns out to be true, but not in the way he thinks.

The deliberate one is posidrive.

Phillips was the accident that became a standard, and the story people tell about it's almost exactly backwards.

Backwards how? The standard story is that Phillips was designed to cam out on purpose, so assembly line workers wouldn't over-tighten screws with power drivers.

It is not the vessel that you need to accomplish the task of a screwdriver.

You need a screwdriver, and if you need a Phillips head screwdriver, then you don't want a flathead screwdriver.

You see? Or if you need a screwdriver that has a star, then you don't need a Phillips head or a flathead screwdriver.

You need one that's got a star point on it and of just the right size for the screw that you're trying to screw in.

The Lord has a very specific thing He wants to do with you, and the Lord has very specific things that He wants to do with each vessel.

There is also a tendency to limit the execution based on the integration, right? What do we have? That's what we can do.

Uh, to use a non-software example, if I only have a Phillips-head screwdriver, I am going to use Phillips-head screws in my design, whatever, whatever it is.
