And remember, Paul tells already believers to work out your own salvation, Philippians 2:12.

If Jesus did it all on the cross and we got nothing to worry about, we could walk around without any worries, why do we read, "Work out your own salvation"? And if faith alone was a reality, we wouldn't read, "Faith without works is dead," in s- in James 2:24-26.

Holy Humility, Philippians 2, verse 9.

The Apostle Paul says this.

Therefore, God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name.

We went as low to talk about how Jesus became obedient to the point of even death on a Roman cross.

The most humiliating, most horrific, most torturous, if that's even a word, death ever.

And in Philippians 2, 9 begins with one massive word.

Therefore, everything turns.

Philippians 2, 12, and 13 is a scripture that calls for us to work out our salvation with fear and trembling.

Yeah.

What that passage means is work out the implications of your salvation.

Yeah, I think that's really good.

I was also, as you were talking, thinking you referenced one of my favorite passages of Scripture toward the end of your sermon, and it was Philippians 2.

And I think humility also comes into that.

And I wrote down that Jesus chose humility in that.

And that's not a good day for anybody.

And so I would say your best bet is to recognize now why you still have the opportunity.

to humble yourself and bend your knee before him because the Bible promises that every knee, this is Philippians 2, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that he is Lord.

And you get to choose whether you do that in this lifetime or when you leave this life and step into the presence of God.

Philippians 2 verse 5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.

From these passages it is clear that the goal of the Christian faith is obedience to Christ.

A stronghold is a military facility strategically and secretly positioned to store ammunition in enemy territory.

Since we are the product of our thoughts, a disciplined mind gives rise to a disciplined life.

Is it well in your soul? Is it well in your heart? Is it well in your mind? Is it well in your will? Is it well in your house?

Philippians 2 verse 5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
