Philip Sutcliffe Snr

Took me out to dinner.

His trainer, famous two-time Olympian, old, great Phil Sutcliffe.

He trained Conor McGregor, and he has his own gym over there.

They showed me a fabulous time, and they will disagree with you.

I joined Crumlin Boxing Club.

But every year, there's a Good Friday show run by Phil Sutcliffe and... it's a boxing show to raise funds for the club.

You know, there was a bar in the club and it's not as busy as it was now because Good Friday bars are open everywhere.

Yes, of course.

But I looked at your man across the ring anyway, and there was steam coming out of his ears, you know.

So I said, I'd better buck up here, you know.

But Phil Sutcliffe was in my car, and Phil is a great coach and coach.

olympian and promised european medalist you know he actually coached conor mcgregor as well as a young fella but uh i have a strong connection with crumlin anyway because you know i still go up there at christmas and uh i even go to mcgregor's pub for the center visit you know but anyway the fight started anyway and your man came out and he nearly took the head off me You know, so Phil says to me, you know, you know, I lost the first round anyway.
