Hey, guys, this is Ashley calling from Philadelphia, Mississippi.

Um, uh, I worked at a water treatment facility, and during training, my job was to work the graveyard shift.

And the fellas, before they would leave me, they w- they would tell me that, uh, "Watch out for, uh, for John.

And the reason he was speaking, he was invited as a fundraiser to Michigan State students to go down to Mississippi and help with voter registration.

And this is only one year after those three people were killed in Philadelphia, Mississippi.

Michigan State historically, Tom, and I think you would agree with this, has had more accomplishments than accomplished messaging.

And if that ever catches up, I think Michigan State's reputation, the awareness of how important it has been, and I don't say that as a two-time alumnus.

I know this does not make sense, but it makes sense to those of us who are from down here.

And for a fan who lives in Grenada, Mississippi or Philadelphia, Mississippi, it's a real place, Tupelo, what have you, who bleeds Ole Miss red and blue, someone leaving you for what they consider to be a better option in this same conference is much bigger than just a slap in the face.

It's a slap in the groin.

That's what it is.
