Now come on, folks, that was 31 years ago, so I guess it is an oldie, right? There are many people that need thanking for the show's longevity, including our 40-year sponsors

sponsorsJoan Chevrolet and Town & Country Home and Appliance, the station's owners over the years for letting us be on the air with, uh, nonsense.

My wife June has let me go on, uh, to play every Saturday night for 40 years.

The loyal listeners that I have met made the nights and years go by so fast.

Many friends have been made.

It does not seem like it has been 40.

Truthfully, it only seems like maybe 20, but then I look in a mirror.

And thank you.
