Give me an example of something that's happened in your community that m- made a positive difference.

Well, we've, uh, benefited enormously from having our own community-owned wind turbine for the last, you know, nearly two decades.

It's put over £4 million into the Tiree community.

If it wasn't for that turbine, we wouldn't have been able to retain the existence of a filling station in Tiree.

We wouldn't have business units.

We wouldn't be looking at building housing.

We wouldn't have had the, the long-term commitment to having the capacity to do those things without that income source.

Okay

And that's probably not going to change in a hurry, right?

Right.

I totally agree.

I recall going back to those hosting days I referred to, you know, the mid-2000s.

VMware was a big thing back then.

There was a little bit of Hyper-V even kicking around at those times.

And visiting New Zealand, very much the idea that down the spine of New Zealand, if you think of it that way, there were definitely data centers that were popping up in Dunedin and Christchurch and up through the big towns on the North Island as well.

They don't even know what their liabilities really are, right?

Oh,

of course.

Yeah.

The crazy part about that was I dealt with that as a moderator of the bulletin boards.

And I learned very quickly that if you're at a certain size, which 200,000 people ended up being the size that we decided to make the cut, we decided to say, look, we gotta stop this.

We can't do this anymore.
